Foster Care Support Worker (Full-Time) Opportunity:

The Foster Care Support Worker is responsible for support services to children and youth and their foster families in order to promote enduring substitute family-based care.

Who you are:

A team player working with a multi-disciplinary team

Skilled in building relationships with clients and foster parents with professional boundaries

Solid oral and written communication skills

Willingness to constantly learn and evolve

Organized; with a strong focus on accurate and consistent record-keeping

Creative problem solving

Qualifications :

Diploma or undergraduate degree in Human Services, e.g., Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields and four years related experience.

In-home support experience working with young people and families preferred.

Current certifications in Standard First Aid/Level C CPR, PIC, IRC, Valid Driver’s License, and Driver’s Abstract.
