The School Psychologist collaborates with the Dean of Student Well-being and the educational team to assist students across all levels. This position focuses on providing psychological consulting services, including counselling, crisis intervention, and staff consultation. Your expertise will be vital in developing mental wellness plans, enabling students to thrive in their academic and personal lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual meetings to identify student concerns
• Perform risk assessments and refer students to outside agencies
• Provide crisis intervention with trauma-informed strategies
• Facilitate small group interventions for boarding students
• Collaborate with Learning Services for coordinated plans
Requirements:
• Certified Psychologist or Psychological Associate in Ontario
• Ph.D. or Master’s in Child/Adolescent Psychology
• Proven experience in diverse educational settings
• Knowledge of childhood and adolescent disorders
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
