Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Location: Oromocto, NB

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Wage: $68,000-$75,000K annually

We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the company receives high-quality products and services at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
- Obtain quotes and compare pricing, quality, and delivery schedules
- Prepare purchase orders and manage procurement documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing requirements
- Build and maintain positive supplier relationships
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve supply issues when needed
- Track purchasing trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction




- Maintain compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Work closely with operations, finance, and management teams to support business needs

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related field
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to analyze pricing, contracts, and supplier performance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field is considered an asset
