Role Summary
The Senior Backup Administrator is responsible for designing, administering, monitoring, and improving enterprise backup and recovery services across physical, virtual, cloud, and database environments. This role ensures that critical business data is protected, recoverable, and aligned with agreed recovery point objectives and recovery time objectives. The position requires strong technical expertise, operational discipline, and the ability to support incident response, disaster recovery testing, audit readiness, and continuous service improvement.





We are looking for a Senior Backup Administrator to join our IT Operations team and lead the management of enterprise backup and recovery services. The ideal candidate will have solid experience supporting backup platforms, troubleshooting complex recovery issues, improving data protection controls, and ensuring recoverability for business-critical systems. This role is suited for a technically strong administrator who can operate independently, support operational excellence, and contribute to business continuity and cyber resilience initiatives.

This role may require participation in after-hours maintenance windows, disaster recovery exercises, and scheduled on-call support. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced IT operations environment and collaborating with global or cross-functional teams.
