About the Role Our client is a leader in automotive technology and is seeking a talented Remote Automotive Software Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation in-car systems. In this fully remote role, you will design, implement, and test software solutions for infotainment, connectivity, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). You will collaborate with a global team of engineers, product managers, and designers, leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive applications, focusing on reliability and performance.
Implement and integrate software modules for infotainment systems, navigation, and vehicle connectivity features.
Develop and optimize algorithms for ADAS functionalities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Write robust, well‑documented, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to strict coding standards.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an agile development environment using remote collaboration tools.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex software issues.
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Software Engineer , with specific experience in embedded systems development.
Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
Experience with software development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
