Req# 53332 - Lead Software Developer (DevOps) Cloud/SaaS

You are part of an Engineering organization building and operating a highlyscalable, globally available Public Cloud Service (SaaS) in the EnterpriseInformation Management domain. Working closely with Software Engineering and ITOperations, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability,security, and continuous evolution of our fast-growing cloud platform. In anagile environment, you will drive automation, streamline operations, and helpdeliver new capabilities to customers around the world.

This is a highly technical, hands-on DevOps role focused on cloudinfrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, and production reliability, whereyour primary objective will be to build, maintain, and optimize scalable andsecure deployment platforms that enable efficient software delivery.

What The Role Offers

- Lead DevOps and automation initiatives across development and operations teams.
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.




- Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Improve performance, security, observability, and operational excellence across the SaaS platform.
- Evaluate and adopt AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

What You Need To Succeed

- 7+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or cloud-based enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency in Ansible, Python and Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Solid Linux administration, troubleshooting, and production support experience.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with excellent communication skill in English.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits packagethat supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you movethrough the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about ourcompensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunitiesfor eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $118,000.00 - $168,000.00; Depending on the candidate’s education,experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equityand external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than therange posted.
