Summary of responsibilities
- Lead a team of aircraft maintenance engineers (give proper instructions, distribute and balance workload, inspect work performed, reinforce safety standards, comply with company policies and ensure proper discipline of the team).
- Ensure timely completion of all maintenance projects as needed.
- Perform the paperwork required to order all necessary parts and ensure delivery of parts on time.
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving, taking a hands-on role as necessary.
- Complete all logbook entries, work orders and crew passovers.
- Ensure the airworthiness of all aircraft maintained by Skyservice FBO.
- Adaptable work schedule (day, night, and evening).
- Assume all duties of the Coordinator in their absence.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications and skills required
- Valid Transport Canada M2 and/or M1 license.
- Knowledge of MCM and paperwork systems.
- Ability to supervise a crew of maintenance employees.
- Confident team player with demonstrated leadership capability.
- Ability to work under pressure and possess excellent organizational skills.
Education
- Completed Aircraft Engineer College Program.
