Job Description

Canadian Tire in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan is currently seeking reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Retail Shelf Stockers.

The successful candidates will assist with stocking and organizing merchandise, maintaining inventory, helping customers locate products, and supporting the overall day-to-day operation of the retail store.

Responsibilities

- Stock shelves and display areas
- Obtain products for customers from shelves or stockrooms
- Direct customers to the location of products they are looking for
- Unpack merchandise received by the store and count, weigh or sort items
- Maintain computerized stock inventory
- Record incoming stock
- Keep stock and merchandise clean and organized
- Price merchandise using stamps or stickers according to price lists
- Attach protective devices to merchandise to help prevent shoplifting
- Bag, box or prepare customer purchases for shipment or delivery
- Pick orders




- Process electronic transactions using computer equipment
- Operate a cash register
- Provide customer service
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors

Requirements

Language: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
