Alteo is looking for a Systems Integration Specialist for a permanent position based in Montreal.
*** Hybrid Work ***
You will be responsible for the development, implementation, evolution, and support of electronic data exchange interfaces (HL7) between numerous clinical and clinical-administrative systems. The person in this role plays a key part in ensuring the interoperability of information systems by contributing to strategic projects and day-to-day operations in a highly team-oriented and constantly evolving environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Analysis and Planning
- Participate in project proposals and analysis in collaboration with project managers;
- Meet with clients to analyze their needs and advise them on available technological solutions;
- Analyze interface requirements and identify potential solutions with stakeholders;
- Participate in testing phases (pilot, validation, acceptance);
- Contribute to the planning of production rollouts;
- Document deployed systems according to established standards, including service level agreements (SLAs);
- Ensure quality control during the planning and deployment of new applications or versions;
- Serve as a liaison with the project office, infrastructure, and networking teams.
> Architecture and Interoperability
- Design and evolve interfaces and integration models in accordance with standards: HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3 | CDA | FHIR R4 / R5
- Design FHIR APIs and microservices that meet the clinical and administrative needs, including interconnection with provincial platforms;
- Define and evolve the interoperability architecture in alignment with standards;
- Participate in the implementation of interoperability standards;
- Contribute to the governance of clinical terminologies: SNOMED CT | LOINC | ICD-10-CA | RxNorm
- Ensure alignment with IHE integration profiles (XDS, XCA, PIX/PDQ);
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks (LSSSS, Bill 25, provincial cybersecurity requirements).

- Develop and configure application integration solutions: HL7 interfaces | XML/JSON feeds

- Deployment and Monitoring
- Use the network's recognized integration engines:
- Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect)
- Enovacom Integration Engine
> Support and Operations
- Ensure a rapid and effective response to application support incidents;
- Perform technical and functional analysis of operational issues;
- Collaborate with the support center, vendors, and internal IT teams;
- Identify and implement appropriate fixes;
- Update incident tickets and perform required follow-ups;
- Participate in the implementation of contingency plans;
- Create and maintain support documentation and service level agreements.
PROFILE:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in the specialty area within a large-scale environment;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools: MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project
- Strong knowledge of FHIR data ingestion via Microsoft Azure Health Data Services
- Experience in developing FHIR, HL7 v2, and v3 interfaces.
- Experience with systems used in Quebec (Oacis, Cristal-Net, RIS/PACS, laboratory systems, provincial solutions).
- Knowledge of cloud computing environments (Azure, AWS).
- In-depth analytical and technical skills in healthcare application technologies;
- Knowledge of the following programming languages: C#, .NET, XML, JavaScript, Java, JSON.
- Mirth Connect, HL7 v2, HL7 v3, HL7 FHIR.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus.
- Very strong ability to write clear, structured, and high-quality functional and technical documentation.

Vous serez responsable du développement, de la mise en œuvre, de l'évolution et du support des interfaces d'échange de données informatisées (HL7) entre de nombreux systèmes cliniques et clinico-administratifs. La personne titulaire du poste joue un rôle clé dans l'interopérabilité des systèmes d'information en contribuant à des projets structurants et à l'opérationnel, dans un environnement hautement collaboratif et en constante évolution.
RESPONSABILITÉS:
> Analyse et planification
- Participer à la proposition et à l'analyse de projets en collaboration avec les chargés de projets;
- Rencontrer les clients et analyser leurs besoins, tout en les conseillant sur les solutions technologiques disponibles;
- Analyser les besoins d'interfaces et identifier les pistes de solutions avec les parties prenantes;
- Participer aux phases de tests (pilotes, validation, acceptation);
- Contribuer à la planification des mises en production;
- Documenter les systèmes déployés selon les standards établis, incluant les accords de niveaux de service (SLA);
- Assurer le contrôle de qualité lors de la planification et du déploiement de nouvelles applications ou versions;
- Agir comme point de liaison avec les équipes du bureau de projets, d'infrastructure et de réseautique.
> Architecture et interopérabilité
- Concevoir et faire évoluer des interfaces et modèles d'intégration selon les standards : HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3 | CDA | FHIR R4 / R5
- Concevoir des API FHIR et des microservices répondant aux besoins cliniques et administratifs, incluant l'interconnexion avec les plateformes provinciales;
- Définir et faire évoluer l'architecture d'interopérabilité en alignement avec les orientations de Santé Québec et les standards provinciaux;
- Participer à l'implantation des standards d'interopérabilité prescrits;
- Contribuer à la gouvernance des terminologies cliniques :SNOMED CT | LOINC | ICD-10-CA | RxNorm
- Assurer l'alignement avec les profils d'intégration IHE (XDS, XCA, PIX/PDQ);
- Garantir la conformité aux cadres légaux et réglementaires (LSSSS, Loi 25, exigences provinciales en cybersécurité).

- Identifier et mettre en œuvre les correctifs appropriés;
- Mettre à jour les billets d'anomalies et effectuer les suivis requis;
- Participer à la mise en place de plans de mesures d'urgence;
- Produire et maintenir la documentation de support et les accords de niveaux de service.
PROFIL:
- BAC en TI ou l'équivalent
- 7+ années d'expérience dans le domaine de spécialité dans un environnement de grande envergure;
- Bonne connaissance des outils Microsoft: MsOffice, MsVisio, MsProject
- Bonne connaissance en ingestion de données FHIR via Microsoft Azure Health Data Services
- Expérience en développement d'interface FHIR, HL7 v2 & v3.
