Journeyman Automotive Technician

Erol’s Automotive – Cochrane, Alberta

$42–$46/hour + Shop Efficiency Bonuses | Monday–Friday | No Weekends

Looking for a shop where you can make a great living, work on interesting vehicles, and still have your weekends?

Erol’s Automotive is looking for an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team.

We are a busy, well-established independent automotive repair facility in Cochrane with 14 bays across two buildings and a strong, loyal customer base. Our shop works on virtually everything — daily drivers, light-duty diesel trucks, European and domestic vehicles, classics and antiques, and increasingly hybrid and EV vehicles.

This isn't a position where you'll be standing around waiting for the next work order. We have steady year-round work and we're looking for another strong technician to help us keep up.

What We Offer

- $42–$46/hour, based on experience and ability
- Shop efficiency bonus program on top of your regular wage
- Monday–Friday schedule
- No weekends
- Statutory holidays off
- Comprehensive benefits package after 3 months
- Busy shop with consistent year-round work
- Modern diagnostic equipment and tooling
- A wide variety of work — you're not doing the same job every day
- Established shop with an experienced team and strong reputation in the community

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a technician who knows their way around a vehicle and takes pride in doing the job properly.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Red Seal Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with electrical and drivability diagnostics
- Solid mechanical repair skills
- Ability to work independently while being part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Pride in quality workmanship
- Experience with diesel, European, classic, hybrid or EV vehicles is an asset — you don't need to be an expert in all of them

The Job

You'll be performing diagnosis, maintenance and repair on a wide range of vehicles, from straightforward everyday repairs to challenging diagnostic work.

We're looking for someone who can diagnose the problem, fix it properly and stand behind their work.

If you're an experienced technician looking for excellent pay, steady work, a Monday–Friday schedule and a shop where your skills are valued, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today and come see what Erol’s Automotive has to offer.
