Amrize in Nanaimo and Victoria is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our Construction division. You will be responsible for placing and finishing concrete (curb & gutter), setting up forms, prepping base course, and being involved in the demolition of existing concrete, and sidewalk. Place and finish concrete in curb, gutter, and sidewalk projects.

Assist in demolition of existing concrete.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience: Previous concrete experience would be an asset. Prior experience in a concrete placement would be an asset. Prior work with power tools would be an asset.

Able to work in a fast paced, high production workplace. Willing to work overtime when needed including Saturdays. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.

Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
