1.0 FTE Primary & Indigenous Support Teacher

Temporary: October 19, 2026 - June 30, 2027

Qualifications:

- BC Certification
- Bachelor of Education in Elementary
- Previous successful experience teaching at the primary level is preferred
- Experience with a variety of learning management systems
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Demonstrated ability to support classroom teachers with the embedding of Indigenous knowledge and perspectives in student learning experiences for all students
- Demonstrated ability to implement programs and services to assist with academic, personal,



and social-emotional needs
- Demonstrated ability to connect with families to build effective communication between home, school, and community supports
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $64,012 to $118,237, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
