POSITION: Registered Practical Nurse LOCATION: Chatham-Kent, Ontario DEPARTMENT: Medicine, Chatham STATUS: Regular Part Time SALARY RANGE: $37.24 - $38.19 # OF POSITIONS: 1 POSTING DATE: 29 September 2026 BARGAINING UNIT: UNIFOR ~-Current Certification of Competence as a Registered Practical Nurse with the Ontario College of Nurses. ~-Current BCLS certification. ~-2 years recent hospital nursing experience on a medical unit. ~-Palliative Care and Geriatric experience. ~-Practice level consistent with the full scope of practice as outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario, which includes but is not limited to: ~-Evidence of the successful, administration and management of blood ~& blood products ~-Evidence of the successful completion and/or practice in processing ~ physician orders, administration of oral, subcutaneous, IM, suppository, ~ aerosol and IV medications, venipuncture and IV initiation and management ~-Demonstrated adherence to the expectations of nursing practice at CKHA
