The Role:

We are looking for passionate, bilingual Academic Mentors to guide middle and high school students through rigorous curricula and standardized test preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver personalized 1-on-2 mentorship and academic coaching in general studies, AP courses, SAT, and/or IELTS.

- Help students build structured study habits, logical thinking, and independent problem-solving skills.

- Share your personal academic journey and insights to inspire and empower students.

- Collaborate with the team on student progress tracking, curriculum insights, and learning strategies.

Who We Are Looking For:

- Strong Academic Track Record: First-hand experience and proven success in GPA, AP courses, SAT, and/or IELTS.

- Canadian Academic Background: Must have graduated from a Canadian high school and currently attending (or graduated from) a Canadian university/college (e.g., UBC, SFU, BCIT).

- Fully Bilingual:



Fluent in both Japanese and English (able to conduct lessons and explain complex academic concepts comfortably in both languages).

- Legal Work Authorization (Must): Valid Canadian work authorization (Work Permit, Study Permit, PR, or Citizenship) with at least 6 months of validity remaining.

- Location & Commute: Able to conduct in-person sessions at our Lougheed Campus (5-minute walk from Lougheed Town Centre Station) and/or Vancouver, with hybrid/online flexibility.

- Availability: Available 1–2 days per week (between Monday–Saturday; weekday afternoons/evenings or Saturdays). Flexible scheduling around university classes.

- Mentorship Mindset: Deep empathy for international students adapting to a recent educational environment, with a strong belief in guiding them from "One day" to "Day One."
