THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO BE BASED IN VANCOUVER OR THE LOWER MAINLAND.
Willowbrae Academy is an award-winning childcare franchise recognized for excellence in early childhood education, operational innovation, and franchisee satisfaction. With an established network across Canada and continued expansion in the United States, we are growing our corporate team to support new academy openings and the quality of every academy in our network.
At the heart of the Willowbrae experience is respect and understanding. We respect every child as a unique individual, and we believe children learn best through play and the natural exploration of their environment.
The Opportunity
Are you a Senior ECE or Centre Director ready to take your experience beyond a single centre? As our Academy Development & Quality Coordinator, you’ll help open current Willowbrae academies and then help every academy deliver our program to the highest standard.
You’ll report to our Manager of Quality Assurance and Academy Experience and work closely with our Director of Academy Development & Operations. One day you might be assembling a licensing submission for a new academy; the next, you’re supporting an audit, leading a training session, or helping a new Director prepare for opening day.
What You’ll Do
- Quality & compliance: support on-site and virtual audits, compliance checks, and follow-up reporting, and help keep program delivery consistent across academies.
- Training & resources: help develop and update curriculum materials, policies, and training resources, and deliver workshops for educators, Directors, and franchise partners.
- New academy licensing: coordinate and track initial licensing submissions, assembling facility plans, staffing, health and safety, and permit documentation.
- Opening readiness:
make sure each recent academy’s program materials, policies, and classrooms meet Willowbrae standards before the doors open.
- Project coordination: track consultant deliverables and coordinate furniture and equipment orders against opening dates.
- Support: answer franchisee questions on program standards and prepare reports, presentations, and communications.
