Our opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Residential Account Manager to manage client relationships and residential glass projects from initial inquiry through ordering, delivery, and installation. This role combines sales, estimating, project coordination, and customer service for products such as shower enclosures, mirrors, insulated glass units, railings, window replacements, and specialty glass. The ideal candidate has glazing-industry experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with customers, suppliers, production teams, and installers to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality solutions.

Accountabilities

- Maintain organized project files (digital and physical).
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for glass projects including shower enclosures, mirrors, insulated glass units, railings, window replacements, and specialty glass.
- Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners, contractors, and builders.
- Track change orders and assist in pricing and documentation.




- Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and building codes.
- Process glass orders including windows, shower enclosures, mirrors, railings, storefront (commercial if applicable), and specialty glass.
- Assist with budget tracking and cost control.
- Support billing preparation and progress payment documentation.
- Issue purchase orders and track material deliveries.
- Coordinate with glass manufacturers, aluminum suppliers, and hardware vendors.
- Verify material quantities and specifications against project documents.
- Resolve discrepancies in shipments and materials.
- Build/maintain relationships with existing clients through warm calling and regular follow-ups.
- Present and demonstrate products or services to potential clients.
- Collaborate with production and installation to provide excellent customer service and support.
- Following up on leads and researching to identify potential prospects.
- Offering professional, effective and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
- Participating in training or associated product meetings when necessary

Qualifications

- Proven experience in outside sales or business development
- Strong communication and problem-solving
- Solid knowledge of glazing industry
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Client management and multitasking skills
- Ability to interpret and analyze sales data.
- Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office
- We will provide education to our internal computer systems.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
