Account Manager
We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Accounts/Sales department. This role is full-time and in person at our office () in Winnipeg.
The successful candidate will build strong, long-term client relationships and work collaboratively with strategy, creative, project management, and production teams to deliver high-quality marketing, branding, digital, and communications initiatives. This role requires excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills, along with a strong understanding of marketing agency operations.

What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and communications, serving as a trusted advisor and primary agency contact.
- Develop a clear understanding of client goals, audiences, priorities, and business challenges.
- Translate client needs into clear project briefs, scopes of work, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate the successful delivery of marketing, branding, digital, content, and creative projects.
- Collaborate with internal strategy, creative, project management, and production teams to ensure projects remain aligned with client expectations.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, approvals, feedback, and deliverables from planning through completion.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, status updates, and project check-ins.
- Prepare meeting agendas, notes, status reports, project updates, and other client-facing materials.
- Proactively identify potential issues, manage expectations,
and escalate risks or concerns when appropriate.
- Support the development of proposals, estimates, presentations, and scopes of work for existing and prospective clients.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional services, campaigns, and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor client satisfaction and contribute to retention and account-growth initiatives.
- Maintain accurate client, project, and communication records within the agency’s CRM and project-management systems.
- Represent the agency professionally at conferences, networking events, and client engagements.
- Support projects related to Indigenous communities, economic development, and reconciliation-focused communications, as applicable.
- Travel within Canada for client meetings, events, and conferences as required.
What We’re Looking For You’ll be a strong fit if you have:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 2–3 years of experience in account management, client services, marketing, advertising, or a creative agency environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and coordinating multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of marketing, branding, digital communications, and creative production processes.
- Ability to translate client objectives into clear briefs, recommendations, scopes of work, and project plans.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive, long-term client relationships.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, approvals, feedback, and competing priorities.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working with creative, strategy, project management, and production teams.
- Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) and project-management tools, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Knowledge of or interest in Indigenous communities, economic development, and reconciliation-focused work is considered an asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel within Canada for events, conferences, and client meetings as required.
