We’re building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. CIBC’s Wood Gundy team is the full-service brokerage division of CIBC serving our high net worth clientele. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide ongoing support to the branch manager, investment advisors and their teams through managing the reception area of the Wood Gundy branch, provide excellent customer service to clients, and manage the day to day activities.

You will also ensure the efficiency of the operations of the branch through a wide range of administrative activities. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time. We may ask you to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests (such as simulation, coding, French proficiency, MS Office).

You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. These should all be uploaded into the Resume section of the application as one document.

Duration of term: 4 months (January 2027 - April 2027) Client engagement - Connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful. Enhance relationships by collaborating with your team and providing administrative support to ensure client needs are met. Relationship building - Heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities.

Conduct administrative activities and engage in administrative processes associated with branch management.

Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making. You are working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline and/or knowledge of business, economics and/or finance through education and experience.
