Career TEAM is looking to hire an Adult and Dislocated Bilingual Career Advisor who will perform professional work providing career counseling, intensive case management, and follow-up services.

Work is performed under the supervision of the Project Director.

The Career

Advisor will play an integral role in Career TEAM’s mission of accelerating the human condition! Medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employee-sponsored HSA on any qualifying plans ~ Disability insurance ~ Employer-sponsored life insurance policy ~ Provide information and case management services to the community Assess jobseekers’ employment and training needs and abilities through interviewing, testing, and other methods Serves as a liaison between workforce development programs and community partners Enter data into and otherwise use and process clients through any participant information system as required, and any other database as required by the One-Stop system Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs, and other services Refer individuals to appropriate services, training programs, or job opportunities and follow up on those activities Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations related to eligibility documentation

- Maintain accurate individual case files for each registered customer assuring that each file contains all required eligibility documents and meets compliance requirements Develop a comprehensive Individual Employment Plan (IEP) for all customers. Provide referral and tracking of eligible customers into contracted programs provided on-site at the One-Stop centers and/or located in the community in accordance with established contracts Participate in all staff-related events as required including but not limited to training, staff meetings, and individual supervision Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of experience in operations Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources Must be computer literate and have MS Word and Excel skills at minimum, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software systems Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive Ability to serve as a role model to customers and motivate them towards achieving goals Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service,



organizational skills, and communication skills, both oral and written required A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and effective in maintaining a high level of confidentiality Master’s or MBA degree Knowledgeable about the local region and relevant partners Bilingual or multilingual Travel : Position may require local travel up to 25% of the time Founded in 1996, Career Team, LLC is a private workforce development organization.
