Maintains and troubleshoots anesthesia equipment malfunctions. Provides routine and emergency services for anesthesiologists.

Assists with schedule preparations, including emergent and urgent surgical procedures involving anesthesia. Assists anesthesia professional staff with preparation and draping of patients for invasive monitoring/procedures and anticipates needs for invasive monitor insertion and procedures. Provides peri-operative technical support to the anesthesia professional staff for delivery of patient care.

Assists with the procurement, assembly, and operation of specialized equipment such as humidification units, fiber optic endoscopic equipment, rapid infusion devices/blood warmers, patient warming devices, neuromuscular devices, infusion pumps, and syringes. Maintains and organizes the anesthesia setting, equipment, supplies,



and personnel to facilitate department functions and ensure efficient flow of cases. Cleans and sets up anesthesia equipment.
