As part of our activities in Canada, AAA Canada is looking for an experienced Aircraft Structures Assembler to support a major player in the Canadian aerospace industry in Mirabel, Quebec.

Under the supervision of the team leader, you will perform assembly operations, including fitting, adjusting, and installing prefabricated modules and subassemblies used in aircraft production. You will work independently or as part of a team using technical documentation while ensuring that all work meets applicable quality and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

- Perform structural installation, assembly, and subassembly of aircraft systems, parts, and components within an assigned project and/or work area.
- Use technical data and instructions provided by the client or aircraft manufacturer.
- Use templates and position components according to PVA, engineering drawings, or other documentation provided by the Methods Department.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Adapt your work to different types of assemblies, including both large and small components.
- Set up and operate manual or automated machines and tools according to the work required.
- Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to the technical specifications provided by the client.
- Install the required fasteners, drill holes, and ensure the correct hardware is used for assembly, including bolts, rivets, mechanical fasteners,



screws, and other hardware used to secure, support, or suspend components and subassemblies.
- Ensure the proper products and materials are used during assembly, including sealants, adhesives, corrosion-protection products, and paint.
- Ensure assemblies comply with the applicable manufacturing documentation.
- Inspect and verify installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure proper fit, performance, and compliance with the standards defined in the technical documentation.
- Meet established quality standards and production rates.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Report any anomalies, defects, or irregularities.

Skills and Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Structures Assembler in the aerospace industry.
- Minimum of a DEP in Aircraft Structural Assembly or an equivalent qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of blueprint and technical drawing interpretation.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft structural assembly techniques.
- Strong manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to different assembly operations and production requirements.
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
