About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Assembly Line Supervisor to lead their dedicated team in East London . This role is central to ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and that all products are assembled to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assembly line, managing staff performance, ensuring safety compliance, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record in assembly line management and a commitment to fostering a productive and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and direct the daily activities of the assembly line team to achieve production goals.
- Ensure all assembly processes are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor line performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve workflow and throughput.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate assembly line workers, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports,



including output, materials, and labor.
- Enforce adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the production floor.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Assembly Line Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of assembly processes , quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in production reporting and basic computer skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is an advantage.
