Position Details

Salary: $39.00/hour

Hours: 30–40 hours per week

Employment: Permanent, Full-Time

Schedule may include: Early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, shifts, on-call, overtime, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Language: English

Required Certificates:

- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate

Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations
- Recruit, hire, supervise, and train staff
- Conduct employee performance reviews
- Establish staff work schedules
- Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
- Negotiate with suppliers for materials and supplies
- Negotiate with clients regarding the use of hotel facilities
- Perform front desk duties when required
- Prepare and implement marketing plans and activities
- Arrange and oversee maintenance activities
- Enforce company policies and operational procedures
- Address customer complaints and concerns
- Assist guests with special needs
- Develop and implement business plans




- Manage events
- Organize and maintain inventory

Work Environment Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment, under pressure and tight deadlines, with a large workload and strong attention to detail.
