WHY THIS POSITION EXISTS

RTP Milan Solutions Canada is expanding its technical team and needs an Assistant Network Specialist to support day-to-day network operations. You will work alongside senior specialists, gaining hands-on experience with infrastructure, security, and user support. This is a hybrid position offering both office collaboration and remote flexibility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Network Support

- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance and respond to connectivity issues
- Support firewall, VPN, and wireless infrastructure administration
- Help maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams

User Support

- Respond to support requests from internal teams and clients
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
- Assist with account management, permissions, and access requests
- Escalate complex issues to senior specialists when needed

Systems Administration

- Support server maintenance, patching, and backups
- Assist with cloud services and hybrid environment management
- Help maintain security protocols and best practices




- Document procedures and contribute to knowledge base articles

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Previous experience in IT support or network administration
- Familiarity with Windows Server, networking fundamentals, and Microsoft 365
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic security concepts
- Robust problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable high-speed internet for remote work days
- Authorization to work in Canada
