Description You are an aspiring Assistant Project Manager with over 5 years of experience working in multi-disciplinary commercial construction projects. As an integral part of the project team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing project strategies in collaboration with the Project Manager. You will support the operations team in maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Leads and promotes Ledcor safety culture on site, ensuring site safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded, and participates in PSSP development. Participates in the risk management process, identifying and managing opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targets Develops and leads engineering deliverables by working with designers on design-build jobs, and supports project control processes. Ensures construction documents are complete and meet project requirements.

Supports in setting standards for budget control methodology, reviews cost reports, and manages construction costs and budgets Participates in the creation and implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP), ensuring that the quality of materials and workmanship meet or exceed standards identified in approval documents. Leads subcontractor bid solicitation and oversees the RFI process. Participates in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations Participates and assists in contract and change order negotiation and management Leads set up of project systems and procedures including chart of accounts, cost accounting system, and project directory.

Tracks, maintains and reports on financial aspects of project,



including billings and projections 5+ years of experience in project coordination and/or project management, working on current-build industrial, commercial, or institutional construction projects for a General Contractor ~ Knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, current construction practices and methodology; understanding of construction costs and budgets ~ Familiarity with and understanding of all components of contract documents ~ Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders, exchanging information and responding to routine stakeholder requests ~ Ability to identify constructability issues in typical situations and develop straightforward solutions in the construction plan and schedule Site based position Ledcor Building offers full-service construction for commercial, residential, institutional, and light industrial projects, along with expertise in green building.
