As the Recreation Assistant Manager at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you will be responsible for our Pool, Fitness Area, Boathouse, Kids Camp, Resort’s activities and recreation group’s activities. You will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and recreation activities that are hallmarks of the Jasper Park Lodge. Reporting to the Recreation Manager, you and your team will be responsible for promoting and facilitating the various activities that will enhance our guest's overall experience at our resort. • Safety regulations are adhered to in all Recreation areas Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the Pool, Boathouse, and Health club thermal area,



by completing daily inspections of the facilities Design entertainment programs and activities for children and adults during all official holidays Effectively schedule all Recreation colleagues Ensure Recreation equipment inventory is well maintained Manage cash float and point of sales system Ensure correct chemical balance of pool and accurate water test readings are maintained as per Provincial regulations Effectively recruit for department and complete performance management Design and implement all controls for rentals, classes, programs, etc. Follow all safety and sanitation policies Previous experience working with children Computer literacy with robust knowledge of MS Word and Excel Degree in recreation or related degree preferred Knowledge of Chemicals/pool operations is an asset Must have a strong interest in health, well-being and physical activity Committed to ongoing development and training of all colleagues Subsidized staff accommodation assistance provided One complimentary meal per shift in our staff cafeteria Employee travel program with discounts on room rates as well as on food & beverage at Fairmont &
