Dialed Auto Detailing
St. Albert
Automotive & Heavy Equipment Fleet Detailer
Dialed Auto Detailing Ltd. – St. Albert, AB
Dialed Auto Detailing is looking for a dependable, hard-working Automotive & Fleet Detailer to join our team.
We are a fast-growing automotive detailing company working with personal vehicles, commercial fleets, rental vehicles, work trucks, and construction equipment.
Our workload has been growing quickly, and we're looking for someone who can keep up in a high-paced environment while still producing work they're proud of.
This isn't a job where every day looks the same. One day you may be working on a personal vehicle, the next a fleet truck, passenger van, or heavily used work vehicle. You may also be helping shuttle vehicles, pick up supplies, or communicate directly with customers and commercial clients.
Prior detailing experience is an asset, but reliability, work ethic, communication, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly matter just as much.
What You'll Be Doing
- Complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing
- Deep-clean heavily used work trucks, fleet vehicles, vans, and personal vehicles
- Vacuum, shampoo, scrub, extract, wash, and clean a variety of vehicle surfaces
- Use pressure washers, vacuums, extractors, polishers, detailing chemicals, and other professional equipment
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Inspect completed vehicles and correct anything that doesn't meet our standards
- Help prepare, organize, and reset the shop between jobs
- Work alongside other team members on larger or time-sensitive jobs
- Adapt as schedules and workloads change throughout the day
- Communicate professionally with customers and commercial clients when needed
- Help receive or return customer vehicles
- Shuttle vehicles between customer locations, job sites, and the shop when required
- Pick up supplies, parts, or orders when needed
- Represent Dialed professionally when working off-site or interacting with customers
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Shows up consistently and on time
- Works with a sense of urgency
- Takes pride in doing a job properly
- Notices the small things other people miss
- Can stay productive without constant supervision
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is comfortable interacting with customers when required
- Can take direction and feedback
- Is willing to learn new processes and improve
- Can work well when the shop is busy
- Is comfortable with physically demanding work
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Is responsible when handling customer vehicles and company equipment
A valid driver's licence and clean/reasonable driving record are strongly preferred, as employees may occasionally be required to move or shuttle customer vehicles.
Previous automotive detailing, automotive, construction, shop, labour, customer service, or cleaning experience is an asset, but not required for the right person.
The Environment
Dialed is growing quickly, and our shop can get busy.
This is a high-paced environment where multiple vehicles, customers, deadlines, and priorities may be moving at the same time. We need people who can stay organized, communicate, and keep working without sacrificing quality.
We don't expect perfection on day one. We do expect effort, accountability, professionalism, and improvement.
If you're someone who prefers a very slow or repetitive work environment, this probably won't be the right fit.
If you like staying busy, working with your hands, dealing with different vehicles and people, and being part of a company that's actively expanding, you'll probably enjoy it here.
The Work
Detailing is physical work.
You'll spend much of the day standing, bending, kneeling, moving equipment, working around water, and cleaning vehicles that can sometimes be extremely dirty.
Some commercial and construction vehicles require significantly more effort than a typical personal vehicle.
There may also be days where you're helping move vehicles, pick up supplies, or assist with customer and fleet logistics.
Working at Dialed
We're still a growing company, which means we're constantly improving how we operate.
Good employees have the opportunity to learn more, take on additional responsibility, and become an important part of the operation as the company grows.
We don't promise automatic promotions or unrealistic career paths. What we can offer is an environment where strong work, reliability, initiative, professionalism, and improvement are noticed.
Schedule
Typical shop hours are approximately 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
Hours and workload can vary depending on scheduled vehicles, fleet work, and customer demand.
Occasional flexibility may be needed when larger projects or deadlines come up.
Compensation
Starting wage: $–$ per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.
Wage increases may be considered over time based on performance, reliability, skill development, additional responsibilities, and business needs.
Who Will Do Well Here
You'll probably be a good fit if you're the type of person who sees that something needs to be done and gets started.
We value people who are reliable, coachable, efficient, professional, and willing to take ownership of their work.
You don't need to already be an expert detailer.
You do need to care about doing good work, representing the company well, and helping wherever you're needed.
To Apply
Submit your resume through Indeed.
A short note explaining any relevant detailing, automotive, construction, cleaning, shop, customer service, or hands-on experience is appreciated.
We're looking for someone who wants to work hard, learn quickly, and grow alongside a company that's moving fast.
