Automotive Parts Person

Great West Chrysler is currently seeking an Automotive Parts Person to join our busy Parts Department. This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years of automotive parts experience who is looking to continue building their knowledge and career in a dealership environment.

In this role, you will support our Service Department, technicians, and customers by helping identify, source, and supply the correct parts quickly and accurately. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist technicians, service advisors, and customers in identifying and sourcing required parts
- Receive and process parts orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare quotes and complete parts billing for service and customer transactions
- Respond to phone, email, and in-person parts inquiries
- Maintain and organize inventory, ensuring proper storage and stock accuracy
- Receive incoming parts shipments and verify orders
- Review parts orders for accuracy before invoicing
- Assist with returns, special orders, and backordered parts
- Work closely with the Service Department to help keep repairs moving efficiently
- Complete other Parts Department duties as required

Qualifications

- Approximately 2 years of automotive parts experience preferred




- Previous dealership experience is considered an asset
- Familiarity with CDK or similar dealership systems is considered an asset
- Good understanding of automotive parts and basic mechanical knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn

Pay: $40,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
