Duties

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and food safety standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs to meet customer specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food handling and safety regulations
- Assist customers at the storefront by providing friendly service, answering questions about products, and helping them select items
- Package baked goods carefully to ensure freshness and presentation quality during display and sale
- Restock shelves with freshly baked items, ensuring the display is attractive and inviting




- Support food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling products for baking or display

Skills

- Experience in cake decorating or food presentation is highly desirable
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with fast-paced environments
- Robust skills in food preparation, cooking, baking, and food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper packaging techniques to maintain product quality
- Kitchen experience that includes working efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Passion for baking and culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and creativity
