Job Overview

We are seeking a agile and experienced Retail Bakery Supervisor to lead our bakery team and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service in our Distillery District location . The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards for product quality and store presentation. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for retail management within a bakery or restaurant environment.

Prior supervisory experience are highly valued to foster effective communication and team development.

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily bakery operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Lead, motivate, and train bakery staff to achieve sales goals and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and bookkeeping activities with accuracy and integrity
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities aligned with store objectives
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members; conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training & development




- Coordinate marketing efforts to attract customers and increase sales within the bakery section
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and manage budgets to meet financial targets
- Maintain excellent communication with team members, vendors, and management to ensure operational efficiency

Experience

- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales or store management, preferably within a bakery or food service environment
- Strong background in merchandising, sales management, and customer service excellence
- Skilled in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math operations
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and team leadership
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent negotiation, phone etiquette, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
