Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and personable Banquet Servers/Bartenders to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our venues, providing outstanding guest service while efficiently serving food and beverages at various events. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure every guest’s experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Responsibilities

- Review Banquet event Orders (BEO’s) at the beginning of each shift to ensure the room(s) and assigned service section(s) are set as contracted in accordance to The Guild’s service standards.
- Listen, Learn, Communicate with the Operations Manager during every shift, especially while attending mandatory pre-shift meetings.
- Fully understand your detailed section’s special needs; understand where to go and who to communicate with, getting assistance in completing the tasks. – Always working as a TEAM.
- Listen intently and question wisely when given tasks. Remember the rest of our TEAM is depending on your tasks to be completed. Be open and adaptable to event changes and varying guest needs. * Understand the Policies and Procedures which Operation’s department has established for the health and safety of you and your team members.




- Understand proper drink and wine service. Monitor all beverage consumption and address issues of intoxications. Use Smart Serve knowledge; always communicate issues to your Captain.
- Provide all guests with a lasting experience from the event, maintain proper dining experience. * Perform basic cleaning tasks as required throughout the event section, and as directed in other areas by your Captain. Ask others if they need assistance if you have completed your tasks.
- Our team is attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests and fellow Team members. * Perform given preparatory tasks and side duties to ensure all guests are served promptly and effectively.

Experience

- Previous experience is an asset
- Smart Serve Certified
- Reliable, Punctual & Team Player
- Lift up to 40 lbs
- Long periods of standing, Bending & Frequent walking
- Able to work under pressure and in fast pace environment
- Flexible work hours, earlier setup times & may be asked to remain to close events - 2am

Pay: $17.95-$20.00 per hour
