Duties

- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences
- Engage with clients through excellent communication to understand their desired looks and offer expert recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure a safe environment
- Upsell retail haircare products and styling accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue




- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
- Educate clients on proper hair care routines and product usage for ongoing maintenance at home
- Assist with maintaining the salon’s organized appearance and inventory of supplies

Experience

- Proven experience as a barber or stylist with a solid portfolio of diverse haircutting and styling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and retain loyal clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively listen to client needs and provide clear advice
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally while focusing on client satisfaction
- Previous experience managing front desk duties or retail sales is a plus but not required
- A passion for current hair trends and continuous learning to stay ahead in the industry
