We are looking for a motivated and experienced Barber / Shop Manager to join our team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is not only passionate about barbering, but also wants to grow with the business and take on more responsibility over time.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the shop, provides excellent service to clients, helps keep the store clean and organized, stays active on social media, and brings forward new ideas to help attract customers and keep the shop busy.

The right person will treat the shop like it matters, take initiative without always needing direction, and work with us to build a strong and successful business.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional haircuts, fades, beard trims, lineups, styling, and other barbering services
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Build relationships with clients and encourage repeat business
- Help manage the day-to-day operations of the shop
- Make sure the shop is clean, professional, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Clean and sanitize tools, barber stations, floors, waiting areas, washrooms, and other areas as required
- Help manage appointments, walk-ins, and customer inquiries
- Keep the shop's social media pages active with photos, videos, reels, promotions, and other content
- Help come up with promotions, events, offers, partnerships, and other ideas to bring more customers into the shop




- Help create a positive atmosphere for both customers and the team
- Recommend and upsell products and services where appropriate
- Take initiative when something in the shop needs to be handled
- Work closely with ownership to help improve and grow the business

Qualifications
- Previous barbering or hairstyling experience
- Strong haircutting and barbering skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, responsible, and professional
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
- Comfortable helping with cleaning and general shop upkeep
- Interest in social media and promoting the business
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Management, retail, sales, or customer service experience is an asset
- Someone looking for a long-term opportunity and interested in growing with the business
