Experienced Barista | Part-Time | Bar Robo
Bar Robo is looking for an experienced barista to join our small team at our Queen Street café in downtown Ottawa.
We’re a busy, independent café with a relaxed atmosphere, a lot of regulars, and a pretty simple approach to hospitality: make good coffee, take care of people, and make the space somewhere you’d want to spend time yourself.
We’re looking for someone with previous barista experience who is comfortable behind an espresso bar and genuinely enjoys café work. Someone personable and engaged with customers, who can find their own rhythm during a shift and takes pride in the little things that make a café run well.
This is a part-time position of approximately 18–24 hours per week. Scheduling is adaptable, but we are specifically looking to add morning availability for 7:00 a.m. opening shifts.
A valid Food Handler Certification is required. Smart Serve and bilingualism in English and French are both assets,
but not requirements.
Robo is a small team and an informal workplace. Our dress code is relaxed, there’s room to bring your own personality to the job, and we value people who are comfortable taking initiative and contributing to the space rather than simply working through a checklist.
$17.60/hour + tips | 18–24 hours/week | Downtown Ottawa
