Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cash handling, and food safety while working in a welcoming and dynamic setting.

Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position emphasizes solid time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients and maintaining product freshness
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space throughout shifts




- Assist with serving food items when necessary and manage food handling responsibilities
- Use basic math skills for cash transactions, change calculation, and inventory tracking
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service

Requirements

- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Strong customer service skills with an outgoing and positive attitude
- Ability to operate POS systems such as Micros POS with accuracy
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
