Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant team at Homewood Suites by Hilton Surrey! In this role, you will be the heart of the bar experience, creating memorable moments for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted drinks. Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage bar operations efficiently, including taking orders, processing payments using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, addressing any issues promptly and responsibly.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils,



while managing inventory levels.
- Follow all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies to ensure a safe experience for guests and staff alike.

Experience

- Previous experience in bartending or food service roles is highly preferred; restaurant experience is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering.
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to food safety, handling, and sanitation practices.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management.
- Experience in serving or bartending roles that demonstrate hospitality expertise and the ability to multitask effectively.
