St. Lawrence Cruise Lines Inc. has an opening for the position of Wine/Bar Steward for a Kingston-based overnight cruise ship on 4, 5, 6 and 7 night voyages to Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City.

This position is to finish out our season in the month of October. It is suitable for persons over the age of 18. Previous bar or serving experience is necessary, and table service and hospitality experience will be considered an asset.

Under supervision of the Cruise Director, the Wine/Bar Steward is responsible for the following:

- Wine service at the table
- Bartending – Mixology
- Drink rounds to outer decks
- Ship’s bar inventory
- General crew-related duties

Work Periods:

- Full time, Temporary (October)
- 10.5 hour days (on average)
- Alternating 4, 5, 6 and 7 night cruises on a "cruise-on, cruise-off" basis – equivalent to 40 hrs per week





Wages and Compensation:

- $20.50 per hour + gratuities
- Full participation in crew gratuity program (Currently averaging $100 per night)
- Transportation to/from ports provided (with food allowance)
- Meals and accommodation provided while cruising
