Premium Accounting Solution Services Inc. is collecting expressions of interest from qualified bookkeepers for potential future employment opportunities with one of our clients in the Grand Moncton Area, New Brunswick.

We are interested in organized, dependable individuals who can manage daily bookkeeping while supporting purchasing, billing, payroll, and administrative processes.
Relevant experience and responsibilities
- QuickBooks Online (QBO): Strong proficiency in recording transactions, maintaining accounts, completing reconciliations, and generating financial reports.
- Accounts payable and supplier management: Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, track credits and returns, resolve discrepancies, and prepare payments for approval.
- Payment automation: Set up and manage bill payment workflows using QBO and compatible payment tools, while maintaining appropriate approvals and controls.
- Accounts receivable: Create customer invoices, apply payments, reconcile customer accounts, and follow up on overdue balances.
- Estimates and project billing: Prepare estimates and invoices using approved pricing, labor, and material information. Track approved changes and ensure completed work is billed accurately.
- Materials tracking and job costing: Monitor materials purchased and allocate them to the correct customer job or inventory account. Reconcile purchases, returns,
and usage to help ensure all billable materials are accounted for.
- Payroll: Verify timesheets, process payroll, maintain employee records, and allocate labor costs to the appropriate jobs.
- Employee attendance: Track attendance, absences, vacation, and leave, supporting accurate payroll and recordkeeping in accordance with New Brunswick employment standards and company policies.
- CRA payment tracking: Monitor HST, corporate income tax, and payroll deduction deadlines. Coordinate with management and the external accounting team to confirm amounts owing and arrange approved payments on time.
- Outlook and billing correspondence: Create and maintain email rules and automatic forwarding to route invoices and billing documents to the appropriate authorized parties.
- General bookkeeping: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, maintain supporting documentation, and assist with month-end reporting and year-end preparation.
Qualifications and assets
- Previous hands-on bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll.
- Strong working proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Outlook, and spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with general trades / contractor operations, including materials purchasing, job costing, labor tracking, and project billing.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment and materials would be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Professional communication skills, confidentiality, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines independently.
Language requirements
English is the primary language used for both spoken and written communication. Candidates must be comfortable communicating professionally in English. Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
Location and schedule
Potential positions would be based at our client’s offices in the GMA (Grand Moncton Area), New Brunswick, with on-site attendance required Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
