Lazeez Shawarma is a growing franchise network with corporate head office and warehouse operations in Mississauga. We support franchise locations across the province with supply, systems and standards.

The role

You'll own the day-to-day books for the franchisor and warehouse entities. This is a hands-on role — you're the person who keeps the numbers clean and current, not someone managing a team doing it.

What you'll do

- Full-cycle AP: vendor invoices, matching to POs and receipts, payment runs
- Franchisee AR: monthly invoicing, royalty and marketing fund billing, collections follow-up, arrears tracking
- Bank, credit card and vendor account reconciliations
- HST remittance and filings, WSIB, source deductions
- Warehouse and inventory entries — product costing, chargebacks, storage and freight recoveries
- Month-end close: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, trial balance cleanup
- Maintain the chart of accounts and keep vendor and franchisee records accurate in QuickBooks Online




- Month-end reporting package for leadership
- Payroll support and year-end file preparation for our external accountant

What we're looking for

- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Solid QuickBooks Online skills — this is our system of record
- Comfortable in Excel: lookups, pivots, reconciling two sources against each other
- Solid working knowledge of Canadian HST, payroll remittances and WSIB
- Accurate and organized, with the discipline to close on schedule
- Able to chase an unpaid account professionally and keep the relationship intact

Nice to have

- Multi-entity or franchise accounting experience
- Food service, distribution or warehouse background
- Dext, Hubdoc or similar receipt-capture tools
- Experience reconciling POS or distribution data against accounting records

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
