Duties

- Perform precise meat cutting, trimming, and portioning according to specifications and customer requests
- Prepare meat products for sale by packaging, labeling, and ensuring proper presentation
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene protocols throughout all food handling processes
- Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about cuts of meat, and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and operated safely at all times
- Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking quality, and organizing stock efficiently




- Follow all food preparation procedures to uphold quality control and safety regulations

Experience

- Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of butchery techniques, meat cutting, and food handling practices is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food safety standards and packaging procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically active role
