The facility regularly accommodates catered functions of up to 300 guests, providing a fast-paced environment where quality, organization, and efficient kitchen operations are essential.

Hours

This is a part time role depending on the needs of the facility and will consist of morning, day time and evening hours.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Square POS (Point of Sale)
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee & tea maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures are followed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to ensure a safe and inviting environment.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health standards.

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service or barista roles is preferred; familiarity with serving and food preparation is a plus.
- Proficiency in using POS systems such as Square for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash transactions, change calculation, and order accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Must have a valid Food Safe Certificate
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required in a quick-paced environment.
