Duties

- Decorate cakes and desserts with intricate designs, piping, fondant, and other decorative techniques to meet customer specifications and seasonal themes
- Prepare cake fillings, frostings, and toppings ensuring high standards of food quality and safety
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as baking, portioning, and packaging baked goods for sale or delivery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station, adhering to food handling and safety regulations
- Interact with customers to understand their decorating preferences, provide suggestions, and ensure satisfaction
- Follow recipes accurately while adding creative touches to enhance visual appeal




- Support the kitchen team with general food preparation duties as needed to ensure smooth operations

Skills

- Proven experience in cake decorating, including piping, fondant work, and creative design techniques
- Background in restaurant or food service environments with knowledge of food handling procedures
- Strong skills in food preparation, baking, and overall kitchen experience within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with packaging baked goods for presentation or delivery purposes
