Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Cannabis Retail Sales Associate with a minimum of six months of retail sales experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service, promote product knowledge, and ensure a smooth shopping experience for all visitors. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help create a positive environment that encourages customer engagement and satisfaction.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs
- Provide detailed product information, including effects, usage, and safety guidelines
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Upsell products effectively to enhance customer experience and store sales goals
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the store remains clean and inviting
- Handle heavy lifting when restocking shelves or moving inventory safely
- Manage inventory records through filing, computer operation, and Microsoft Excel updates

Skills





- Proven retail sales experience with at least six months in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities including French are a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage diverse clientele
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel; familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Organizational skills for merchandising, filing, and inventory management
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical activity required in stock management
- Knowledge of computer operation and general computer skills
- Experience in hospitality or similar customer-focused environments is advantageous
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide customers confidently and support team members
