A well-established cardiac clinic in Mississauga and Etobicoke is seeking experienced Cardiac Sonographer/Echo Technologist, where your expertise will bring clarity and precision to cardiac imaging. Responsibilities

- Prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of the heart, including chambers, valves, and blood flow.
- Follow established protocols to ensure accurate and consistent imaging results.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure, adhering to infection control standards.
- Document procedure details accurately in patient records and communicate findings to supervising physicians.
- Assist with equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members to support comprehensive patient assessments.





Skills

- Prior experience in medical imaging or ultrasound technology is preferred
- Current accreditation with Sonography Canada or ARDMS (required)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to cardiac anatomy and physiology and echocardiographic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain meticulous records.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
