We are seeking Personal Support Workers to assist a female employer with personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.

The employer is looking for a kind and compassionate caregiver who is willing to become educated on myalgic encephalomyelitis. Open to candidates who has interest in the medical profession. Students are welcome to apply!

Location:

- West Vancouver (Near John Lawson Park)

Shifts:

- 4 hour shift
- Days and start time are negotiable upon discussion
- Additional hours may be offered up to 30+ hours per week with ideal candidate

Compensation:

- $26 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Meal Preparation (Complex Dietary Restrictions)
- Medication Administration
- General cleaning and housekeeping such as laundry
- Some administrative work and writing - when not providing care, you will be asked to help develop a care plan/manual with details about meal planning and daily care
- No transfers required
- Attending to client's requests on time schedule

Required Qualifications:

- Combination of healthcare education background and experience - required
- Openness to learn about myalgic encephalomyelitis - required




- Knowledge or willingness to learn how to complete care plan and meal planning
- Cooking and preparing meals and ability to prepare food with specific dietary restrictions - required
