Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders accurately, processing payments, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with customers and team members, and is willing to learn and work as part of a team.

Hours: 24-40 hours per week

Availability: Must be available for flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilites

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the POS system and process cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Handle cash accurately and follow cash-handling procedures
- Prepare and package customer orders as required
- Ensure customers receive accurate orders and a positive experience
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter and dining area
- Restock front-counter supplies when needed
- Follow all food safety, health,



and sanitation procedures
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and other team members
- Assist with other front-of-house and restaurant duties as required

Qualifications

- Previous cashier or restaurant experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow food safety and workplace procedures
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is an asset
