Job Summary

Schedule: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 10:30am-1:30pm

We are looking for a friendly and proactive Cashier/General Help to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming setting for our customers while supporting daily store operations. As a cashier and general help, you'll be the first point of contact for shoppers, handling transactions, assisting with merchandising, and ensuring the store runs smoothly.

The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and eager to provide excellent customer service in a lively setting. Looking for outspoken individuals.

Responsibilities

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with attention to detail and integrity.
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product location or information as needed.
- Support by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the cafeteria , including checkout areas and stockrooms.




- Upsell items when appropriate to enhance customer experience and increase sales.

Experience

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Customer service experience that demonstrates patience, friendliness, and professionalism.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Organizational skills to keep work areas tidy and stock levels up-to-date.
