Desi Chaapwala is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Cashier / Front Counter Team Member to join our growing Indian street food restaurant in Etobicoke.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take dine-in, takeout, phone, and online orders accurately
- Operate the POS system and handle cash, debit, and credit payments
- Answer customer questions about menu items and promotions
- Pack and organize takeout and delivery orders
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly
- Keep the cashier, front counter, and customer areas clean and organized
- Restock packaging, drinks, sauces, and front-counter supplies
- Handle customer concerns professionally
- Assist the team during busy lunch, dinner, evening, and weekend shifts
- Follow food safety, cleanliness, and restaurant procedures

- Experience with Indian restaurants or Indian food is an asset but not required
- Training can be provided to the right candidate
