CASUAL BUILDING MANAGER

Devon Properties is building a pool of Casual Building Managers to provide temporary coverage during vacations, sick leaves, busy periods, and transitions at new buildings.

A great fit if you are retired or semi-retired, looking for a flexible side hustle, or simply want occasional work while keeping control of your schedule.

HOW IT WORKS

When coverage is needed, a Property Manager will contact you with:

· The shift or block of shifts available

· The building location and size

· The work that needs to be covered

· The hourly rate being offered

You decide whether to accept.

PAY

Assignments pay between $26.50 and $33.25 per hour. The rate varies by building and is based primarily on the available building budget. You will always know the rate before accepting an assignment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

· Assist residents and respond to building concerns

· Complete building and common area inspections

· Coordinate maintenance, cleaners, contractors, and trades

· Perform minor repairs, patching, painting, or cleaning

· Assist with move-ins, move-outs, suite preparation, and leasing





· Respond to emergencies or after-hours issues when included in the assignment

· Keep the Property Manager informed and provide a clear handoff

AVAILABILITY

WHAT YOU BRING

· Building management, maintenance, hospitality, seniors housing, or related experience

· Strong customer service, problem-solving, and basic repair skills

· Reliability, initiative, and sound judgment

· A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

· The ability to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
