About V-Law

V-Law is Canada's first subscription based virtual law firm platform. We give lawyers the freedom to run their own practice, keep up to 70% of what they bill, and work from anywhere, while our team handles everything behind the scenes.

That means trust accounting and bookkeeping done to Law Society standards, dedicated paralegals and legal assistants, client intake, lead generation, practice technology with AI enabled workflows, and a real community of lawyers who support each other. Our lawyers focus on the law. We take care of the rest.

The Role

As CEO, you'll guide V-Law through its next stage of growth. You'll take the vision and turn it into a transparent plan, build the systems and processes that let us scale across Canada, and lead a small, passionate team with energy and clarity. You'll work closely with our founders, our lawyers, and our operations, finance, and marketing leads.

What you'll do

- Set the company strategy and turn it into clear goals, priorities, and measurable results
- Grow our network of lawyers across all service tiers, from full back office support to lead generation partnerships
- Design, document,



and continuously improve our operations so everything runs smoothly as we scale
- Champion our technology stack (Clio, GoHighLevel, QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, AI tools) and find smarter ways to automate
- Keep compliance front and centre, working alongside our legal and finance leads on Law Society requirements
- Lead and inspire the team, keeping communication open, honest, and consistent
- Build partnerships, represent V-Law publicly, and support investor relationships
- Own the numbers: revenue, lawyer growth, lead quality, and operational efficiency

Nice to have

- Experience in a law firm, legal tech company, or professional services business
- Startup or scaleup leadership experience
- Familiarity with BC Law Society rules and trust accounting
- A JD, MBA, or equivalent experience
